He said Indian exports which stood at around 80 billion dollars in 2004 could cross 300 billion dollar mark in 2013. He claimed that UPA government gave the country the first National Manufacturing Policy which would create 100 million jobs in ten years. Addressing the media in the capital he said that master plan for 8 National manufacturing Investment Zones has already been approved and 8 more cities have been identified for the scheme. He however raised concern over sluggish growth in manufacturing.
