The purpose of this ALERT is to warn you that the supply chain disruptions are getting worse, at least in the US and Europe, and to maybe prod you to set some time aside to pre-buy some things you might need. The larger concern I have is that some form of tangled mess will result that becomes quite difficult to unravel due to the complexity of the supply chains. If some upstream component can be made because some downstream component can’t be made, then there’s the possibility of a circular logic error. You need to make A before you can make B and you need B to make A. The largest concern I have – although I’ve had it for a long time and it hasn’t happened yet – is that the financial ““markets”” will finally overwhelm the market proppers and jammers and come crashing back down to their actual risk-adjusted levels (far lower) and possibly overshoot those levels to the downside. If that happens, then we’ve got a long and very difficult period of time in front of us. Nobody wins, not even the Elites, although the pain will certainly not be shared equally.
