On September 19 we announced we’d be bringing you a brand new website, built entirely from scratch to give you the much-improved user experience you all deserve. Well, that moment is almost upon us! This Halloween, we will be setting loose a group of beta testers into the new website to uncover every gremlin, ghoul, and ghost they can before we officially launch the site. If all goes well, they may even find themselves in for quite the treat. In the new website, they can expect to see the following improvements:
- A cleaner look-and-feel that is easier to navigate
- Better organization of content so as to provide intelligent searching and filtering
- Comments that are organized like proper conversations
- Easier switching between subscription plans
- The ability to search comments
- Recognition of individual engagement and quality of posts
- The beginnings of a more robust Resilient Life
- A de-mystified signup process
Migrating such a massive treasure-trove of content into a worthy new home has been grueling work, and no doubt there are a few bugs yet to uncover and fix.
